3/4 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup minced onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
2 (6.5 ounce) cans canned tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
12 lasagna noodles
16 ounces ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

*Make Cocktail in a Coffee Mug
.5oz - Piloncillo Cinnamon Simple. Sweettooth? add another .5oz of simple (see Below for recipe.)
2 dash - Amargo Chuncho Bitters
1.5oz - California Gold
Fill with Coffee & Top With Whip Cream
Garnish - Grated Cinnamon & a Cherry

*Make Cocktail in a Single Rocks Glass
1/2 Candied Orange Wheel or Long Orange Peel
1 or 2 Candied Cherries - Amarena Fabbri (The Blacksmiths of Black Cherries)
2 dash - Angustura
Muddle Lightly
1.5 - 2oz - California Gold
3 to 4 Ice Cubes
Stir
Garnish - 1/2 Candied Orange Wheel or Cherrie
PILONCILLO CINNAMON SIMPLE
3 Cups of Water
3 Cones of Piloncillo
5 Sticks of Cinnamon
10 Whole Cloves
Bring ingredients to a simmer and all the piloncillo is melted down.

This creation was made at East Bay Spice Company during the Summer months. At first glance I thought this was a cocktail more fitting for the Winter months. But I was proven wrong. 2 dashes of St George Absinthe
1 dash of salt solution
